Two Winter Hikes at the Clark Farm and Forest

Saturday, January 24, 2009 & Saturday, March 7, 2009

9 a.m. • Meet at Larry and Ann Clark's home at 24 Swett Road
 
Join the Windham Land Trust and Larry Clark for two winter hikes at the Clark Farm and Forest. We will learn about the resident flora and fauna, the effort underway to protect this 550-acre property from sprawl, and the many benefits this property will provide including farming, forestry, wildlife habitats, scenic vistas, and outdoor recreation.

Dress appropriately for a winter hike (hats, mittens, wool socks, snow boots, a warm clothing, etc.) and bring snowshoes if there is snow.
