2009-2010 Environmental Education Grants

The Windham Land Trust has developed a new program in which we are inviting educators in RSU#14, librarians, Boy and Girl Scout Troops and 4-H clubs in Windham to apply for small environmental education grants. The purpose of these grants is to provide funding for projects that will increase the understanding, by children and young adults, about the environment and to show them how they can take actions to protect the environment. The total amount to be awarded is $1,000.00. This amount of money can be divided into several small grants. Applications for the grants should be submitted between August 15, 2009 and October 15, 2009. All applications will be reviewed prior to the awarding of the grants. Grants will be announced by October 30, 2009.

The application form may be downloaded by clicking this link. If you have any questions regarding this program please contact Priscilla Payne at pmpayne@roadrunner.com or by phone at 207-892-5787 .
